Leaf Day Pickup is Coming to the Gulch
No On Street Parking
Friday, December 16

The annual leaf collection in Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood will be Friday, Dec. 16 from 7 am to 3 pm.  This means NO VEHICLES CAN PARK ON STREET or they will towed at your expense.  No exceptions.

SGNA has organized two overnight parking alternatives, starting at 5 pm on Thursday, December 15:
  • Fred Meyer - You may park in any of the outer perimeter parking stalls.  No permit is needed this year thanks to the cooperation of Fred Meyer.  This is your easiest choice.
  • Grace Memorial Episcopal Church - limited to 30 spaces, and a special SGNA PERMIT IS REQUIRED.  Use this link to apply for a permit which we will email to you.   On the evening of December 15, park only in the outer spaces along 16th and Halsey and in the west row of the center parking spaces.  If you don't have a permit, please park in the Fred Meyer lot.  Thanks Grace.
Every year some people are towed because they overslept or their car wouldn't start or some other reason.  We suggest you park your car off street the night before.  And be sure to tell your neighbors about the no parking requirement leaf pick up, as well.

By the way, contrary to the old policy you can rake leaves from the interior of your property into the street.  After all, you're paying for it!  Here's the link for additional information about the city's Leaf Day Pickup
