SULLIVAN'S GULCH
NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

The Sullivan's Gulch Neighborhood Association (SGNA) is one of 95 neighborhood associations in Portland.

SGNA Mission

We the Sullivan's Gulch Neighborhood Association
are marshaling our collective voices, aspirations, and talents to enhance the quality of life in Sullivan's Gulch, through:

  • energetically building community,
  • striving for social harmony,
  • solving shared problems through neighborhood participation,
  • earning our neighbors' trust through fair and impartial decision-making, and
  • promoting the unique identity of
    Sullivan's Gulch.

The SGNA Board is composed of 4 officers and 15 board members, and meets monthly.  All meetings are open to the public.  In addition, two general membership meetings are held each year (Spring and Fall) to inform the neighborhood of issues and projects, hear neighbors' perceptions and suggestions, and elect new board members.

Membership in SGNA is open to all residents, property owners, governmental agencies, business licensees and nonprofit organizations located within the boundaries of Sullivan's Gulch.  Check our ByLaws for details.

  2. Work with the Land-Use committee on planning issues
