The mission of Grace
Memorial Episcopal Church, a parish for all people, is to extend God's
gracious love and hospitality
to each other and to the community by providing worship that inspires, opportunities
for service and growth on life's journey,
and a sacred place in the heart of the city where people can find wholeness
and strength.
Grace Institute, a separate non-profit organization, develops programs and projects that creatively engage the challenges and changes facing the city and its neighborhoods. The Institute sponsors several camps for children and youth including Grace Art Camp and Spring Break Peace Arts Camp. The Institute operates Grace Academy, a middle school arts program during the at-risk hours of 4:00 6:00 pm. The Institute also addresses health and urban livability issues.
